Join Associate Professor Yasir Al-Abdeli, Associate Dean Teaching and Learning in the School of Engineering, as he gives an overview of the various engineering disciplines available and explains why you should choose to study Engineering at ECU. Tune in to our alumni panel from different sectors and different parts of the world to find out! If you want to find out all about Teacher Education come and chat live with some of our current students, a recent graduate and our Executive Dean Professor Stephen Winn. This session is for anyone interested in a career as an educator, including school leavers, mature-age students and postgraduate students. Associate Dean (Music), Dr Jamie Oehlers will give a live presentation about WAAPA’s acclaimed music program followed by a Q&A session offering future students the opportunity to ask questions about everything from auditions and admissions to live performance opportunities, careers and opportunities in the Music industry. The Future Student Information Session will introduce you to our wide range of courses and the excellent support services you can expect as a student. We'll cover course admission pathways, how to apply, fees and scholarships, flexible study options like online or part-time and a current ECU student experience. Join Dr Leesa Costello, a Senior Lecturer in Public Health within the School of Medical and Health Sciences as she discusses courses, practicums and career prospects with a panel of students. Coordinator, Stage Management, Luke Cowling will give a live presentation covering all aspects of WAAPA’s Production and Design department. Lukes talk will cover all specialisations offered within P&D; Costume, Production Design, Lighting, Props and Scenery, Sound and Stage Management followed by a live Q&A where future students can ask questions about everything from admissions, opportunities, careers and everything else. Watch and listen as academics from the School of Nursing and Midwifery discuss their courses. Associate Dean (Performance), Dr Frances Barbe, will give a live presentation covering Aboriginal Performance, Acting, Dance, Music Theatre, Performing Arts and the Honours programs at WAAPA.
